Tournament Sanction Agreement Terms

This agreement is entered into between the Regional Series and you (hereafter the Event Promoter). Event Promoter hereby requests a Regional Series Sanction for applied event. It should be understood by event promoter that this sanction will be an endorsement of this tournament only and in no way implies a permanent affiliation with the Regional Series. As a Regional Series sanctioned tournament promoter you have access to standard items to be made available and utilized for your event.

PROMOTER REQUIREMENTS

1. All promotors must be an official academy/school owner with active students enrolled in there school.

2. Applicants must have a clean background for Academy Alliance Membership & Tournament Promotor consideration.

3. As promoter you agree to release the Regional Series, its Officers and Assignees from any and all liability concerning this event. I further agree to provide adequate administrative, security and emergency medical personnel.

4. Members are not permitted to use the Regional Series logo and/or name in the manufacture of any products or merchandise, including (but not limited to) T-shirts, jackets, etc. Academy Alliance members will be afforded the opportunity to purchase RS products, patches, etc. wholesale through the Regional Series.

5. Sanction fee is to be paid 30 days prior to your event and received by our Regional Series office. In the event that no request form for sanction is received, said event will not be listed as part of the Regional Series Event Calendar and no points will be awarded for tournament.

6. The Regional Series office must receive a copy of your full tournament flyer (pdf preferred) so it may be attached to website and included with your marketing campaign.

7. All Regional Series Promoters are responsible for reporting there tournament results within 10 Days of your tournament. Email completed RESULTS to Info@RegionalSeries.org. Competitor placement is to be entered for every division on RESULTSSHEET.

8. All Regional Series Schools or Academies must receive an official (mailed) invitation/flyer for your tournament.

9. Promotors are to utilize the same Score Charts for every division at your tournament. (SCORE CHARTS must include Score Tabulation, Division Placement, Bye Chart with Competitor Info Tickets. These items must be utilized at your event. Customized charts and or optional Online Digital Scoring Software Systems are permitted as long as the same information is included and made available in tournament results.

10. Tournament Rules, Code of Conduct & Ring Assignments must be made available for everyone that attends your event. Please make copies of each and have them placed on your registration tables for easy access.

PLEASE NOTE: As the year progresses, we try to keep competitors well informed of their standing in the Regional Point race. We ask that you help in this endeavor by making sure all completed tournament division charts have 1st - 4th place winner COMPETITOR TICKETS stapled to front of the chart by your score keeper. Tickets are to be filled out completely by each individual competitor, NAME, AGE, Date of Birth, BELT RANK and INSTRUCTOR'S NAME. This will ensure accurate ratings and help with tournament result entry from your personnel.

I have read the terms of the Regional Series tournament sanction agreement and understand the limits of usage of the Regional Series name and or Logo and agree to strictly adhere to the guidelines as to such usage.
